Detroit Zoo - Baghdad Zoo | Vinyl signs on bus stops  2007

Public intervention as part of the inaugural exhibition of University of Michigan gallery Detroit:Works. Exhibition entitled Intersections was curated by Nick Sousanis.

This work is ironic commentary on 'at-the-time' US invasion on Iraq where one sign on a bus stop, points to Detroit Zoo (which is not located in the inner city of Detroit) and the other sign pointing to Baghdad Zoo. The vinyl signs were removed the following day, although the adhesive stayed which makes it still visible.
