Miroslav Cukovic is an American, Yugoslavian born artist who received his BFA from College for Creative Studies in Detroit, Michigan, USA. While at CCS he has studied under the mentorship of Dennis Galffy, Zdzislaw Sikora, Lynne Avadenka, Joseph Bernard and Susan Goethel Campbell to name the few.

Through various mediums such as artist books, prints, collages, video or public works, Cukovic's practice deals with poetic mapping and exploring of in-between space.

He has exhibited at the Künstlerhaus, Vienna as part of the exhibition THE ULTIMATE SUMMIT OF CHEAP LASER GRAPHICS - 'NO REGRETS', Survey of Slovenian Printmaking at the International Center for Graphic Arts in Ljubljana, Slovenia, Survey of Contemporary Drawing at the Urban Institute of Contemporary Art in Grand Rapids. His public project Maribor's Milky Way has been included in the official program of the European Capital of Culture Maribor 2012.

He currently lives and works in Linz, Austria
